I did my research, hours of it- to see what are the best headphones for listening to music and also for calls (mainly on the phone). Honestly there are so many headphones there the only way one can decide is by trying out all of them and even then that might not work because one wouldn’t know the comfort level after wearing them for longer period of times.I was narrowing down between the Bose QC 45, the Sony WH-1000XM5 (why can’t they have shorter simpler naming structure?) and the Airpod Max. In terms of pricing the Max’s are the most expensive and by far- almost double- the delta itself is $300- so that didn’t help.Reviews on all of them were great. I eventually chose the Max’s because I have 2 iPhones and it is easy to switch between both of them when getting calls/listening to music.After having them for a week:PlusOutstanding sound: not sure if it is the spatial bit, but they sound amazing.Great fitLook cool.Great packing caseMinusThe head detection is not great.If you use this with an iPhone and say a PC (not a Mac), then only one can work at one time i.e. if you paired and connected to your PC and a call comes on the phone, you have to go to the Bluetooth settings in the phone and choose Connect again and vice versa- a bit of a pain. I suspect if one has a Mac this problem will not suspect.I liked them enough that I have gifted one to my daughter in LA – from Best Buy- much cheaper there by the way including taxes.April 2023

Next Level of Sound and Music
I didnt know that my ears has this much ability ! you can listen to a song for a thousand times but when you listen it with AirPod Max you hear small details that you didnt know they existed !and its not only a headset . you can call and command to siri and also the most important part is noise cancellation , when you turn it on you dont hear anything from outside . its pure silence .
