I really like the scent
I like the scent but its not the longest lasting scent in the world (4-6h). Super easy to overpower so 1-2 sprays is all you really need.

Opuim Black Perfume
I started wearing Opuim by Yyes Saint Laurent in 1977 when it first came on the market. It had a sweet fragrance with a hint of musk. I loved it and so did everyone I met. I received so many compliments on it over the years, but when opium Black came out, I loved it more, and it’s my favorite. I love many scents mostly French perfumes.

I bought this perfume for my wife and I must say the smell is amazing. She absolutely loved it, but I have to be honest She can’t keep me away from her now it smells so good! Decent size bottle lasted quite a while. Was packaged well, appearance is pretty amazing as well. Sprag goes along way, Never had any issues with leaking either. I would honestly say it is worth the cost. We both love it!

Omgggg the smell of this perfume is overly amazing! I have bathed and went into another day and it’s still on me! The smell is light but it’s strong to the point where wherever I went I was stopped about 98 times! Yes I’m exaggerating but man oh man I have received a lot of compliments! Good scent but needs time to work
I was very disappointed at first since its so expensive and when first using it I got “grandma” vibes from it. I just had to let it sit and dry on my skin for 5 minutes and then I liked it and get compliments on it all day long. Lasts better on your clothes than skin but just remember to spray behind your ears and your heat points for the best results!

The Smell

It’s good but it could be a fake?
Okay so the scent will not last past 30min-1hr on skin for some reason but it does stay on my clothes for a good amount of time (not all day though) I cannot tell for certain if this is a counterfeit or not. The box looks correct and so does the bottle but the scent doesn’t last like my original black opium seems to. They do smell the same, so this could just be a bottle that was sitting for too long? Overall, I’m satisfied, it lasts enough in clothes to make up for it all. And for $80 it’s a decent deal. Hopefully it’s not a fake but I don’t know for sure!

I was very hesitant buying perfume on Amazon, I always buy mine from department stores but I had an accumulation of gift cards for Amazon, so here we are. Mine appears to be the real deal. I’ve been wearing this perfume for years and think I could smell the difference in a fake one. I watched a few different YouTube videos on real vs fake bottle and packaging comparisons for YSL black opium and unless scammers have gotten REALLY REALLY good at duping, then this is 100% real. I’d be shocked if it was fake and honestly wouldn’t care because it looks and smells authentic and costed me a lot less.

Strong scent
It has a flower and vanilla scent but it’s not overpowering I hate vanilla scents that smell like pure vanilla but this is not like that. I actually like it, it is however a bit strong and if you’re someone who gets headaches when using strong scents I suggest only spraying 2 pumps. But I like it.

I had ran out of my previous bottle (because I’m freaking sickly obsessed w/ this scent & I over spray myself even though It lasts foreverrrrrrrr with just 1 use)…anyways, I bought this one a lil skeptical because of some (HATING) Reviews.Let me tell you something: This is Real YSL. Smells just like the one I recently finished. I put the bottles next to each other & compared the tags, on the bottom of the bottle, I compared the series, everything seems legit and I’m very happy.I will definitely purchase another one soon,because like I previously stated: I’m sick in the head when it comes to YSL Black Opium. My obsession is not gonna stop because purchasing it here is a bit less expensive than going to Macy’s.Hey, a win is a Win!!🏆

A wonderful scent.
The bottle is nice. The scent is wonderful and it stays a long time on clothing for example. The scent follows you as you can smell it in the breeze. you take off your scarf or jacket and the scent is there. You later pick up that same piece of clothing and the scent is still there. I do not know how long the scent would last on a piece of clothing. I have not tested that but it lasts for the day and next day for sure.

Great value for the price and I absolutely love the smell. I was told that I smell great lol. You don’t have to worry about it being too strong either. My only complaint is that it’s not long lasting. The bottle is way bigger than I thought it would be, though, which is great. And it looks so fancy. 😊
