All time favorite!
My husband and I have been together for 9 years this coming January. His grandma got him this cologne for the first time when he was around 15 years old. She told him ladies really like it, and boy was she right. I absolutely LOVE the smell of Polo Sport. All these years and I still buy him one every Christmas. ❤️

The Original Polo Sport… A great fragrance that we will miss…
One of the classic fragrance designers, Ralph Lauren, has produced a number of scents we have grown to love. It is too bad that some of these fragrances have run their course and “put out to pasture” – so to speak. Polo Sport is one of these fragrances that became a classic, but with time, has become increasingly hard to find. Perhaps it, too, has been discontinued. I recently purchased this fragrance online and could hardly await arrival of the scent that became popular in the mid-90s – as a mid-40s guy (and still roguishly handsome) – I remember this time period fondly…Out of the bottle Polo Sport presents a complexity of notes, but settles into simplicity of citrus, fruity, and “woodsy” notes. A classic scent that is breathes clean, fresh, and distinguished. Well done, Mr. Lauren..!! While the longevity and projection/sillage of this new bottle is average, it seems that bottles produced in the late 90s or early 00s, the fragrance lasted longer with greater sillage. There have been comparisons to younger siblings, “Red, White, and Blue” and “Polo Blue Sport” – I am not sure I get those same notes. Each are great fragrances, but very much different than this blend.Polo Sport has plenty of “Wow Factor” (compliments from the opposite sex) potential. The first day I wore this, I did not receive any compliments, but due to it’s fresh and clean wake, the potential is there. One of the beauties about Polo Sport is the versatility or flexibility – perhaps tailored more for Spring and Summer, I feel confident the fragrance can be worn any time of year and for any occasion. It also can be a favorite for all ages – those of us who grew up with Polo Sport and the younger audience who want to feel clean and fresh.The bottle is an exceptional and classic design – typical Ralph Lauren.. As mentioned, I purchased this online. That said, the packaging is average at best. I, generally, am not a “conspiracy theory” type of guy, but I have pondered the thought of authenticity of this purchase. (I will add the purchase was through a very reputable source..) Regardless, the packaging is average or modest.Speaking of the purchase, Polo Sport can still be found moderately priced. My final tally of Polo Sport is 4.3 stars out of 5. Yes, there may be better fragrances out there – even I have those that rank higher – but Polo Sport is truly a classic fragrance that I enjoy. I highly recommend adding to your collection – or for us 40+ more distinguished gentlemen (and I use that term ‘loosely’..), replenishing our cologne cabinet with a new bottle of Polo Sport.The Daily I.M. – The best thing in the world, is the world itself (from one of my favorite movies). Make your life count…

Very nice cologne
I bought this for my husband to replace a cologne which he purchased and I couldn’t handle it, way to strong. This cologne has a very mild enticing small. I’m very happy when he wears this! Great buy!!

One of the best smelling colognes i have (Compliments everyday)
Now ive been using polo sport for a while now and keep on using it because of its flawless smell. HOWEVER, to give this a good review, it does have one little flaw. Ive done some “tests” on how long the cologne’s smell actually lasts and i had a feeling it went away quickly for some reason, despite 4-5 sprays. The smell doesnt last that long mayb 2 hours max. I have ordered with 3 different carriers of this cologne thinking mayb it was just one bottle, but sadly it wasnt, and the amazing scent doesnt last as long as I would like, 4 strong stars.

Polo Sport Eau de Toilette
People need to think of Amazon.com for the purchase of everything, to include the proverbial ‘kitchen sink.’ Those who shop the internet will be surprised how often Amazon.com does have the best value for the money. When purchsing such things as cologne you can be sure you are getting original quality products and not cheap rip-offs. This item was purchased as a gift for someone who has used Polo Sport cologne for years and he was extremely satisfied. The only continuing problem I have with Amazon.com is in their pacakaging – they are very stingy with their bubble wrap, often leaving an item plenty to room to knock around in the box and sustain damage. The offset is that returns are accepted without question.

Worse water and alcohol.
To be 100% honest I’m regretting buying whatever this is, but I’m completely sure this is not a cologne, I did used this perfume 20 years ago and it was decent, and now all I can compare it is with alcohol and water because the smell evaporated as soon and you sprayed on your skin or on your clothing, even the spray and the cap is super cheap plastic, the bottle said that is made in the USA but I’m honestly doubt it because if anything is made in the USA the quality is supper. I waste my money on this brand and lesson learned. If I could leave a review with no stars that will be more accurate. My advice is not to buy this cologne, if you do I’m sure you be completely dissatisfied.

Great scent, used to last an hour now the scent is completely gone.
The scent smells great. I love the fresh citrus smell. This cologne does not last long though. I have tried spaying it on my skin and/or clothing and it usually fades within an hour. There have been times where I can faintly smell it on my shirt still after that but my nose has to be right there on the fabric to detect the scent.**Update** About 6 months later the scent is mostly gone. Amazon at this point won’t give a refund. So I tried contacting Ralph Lauren personally to see if they would replace it since I like the scent. They won’t do anything about it since Amazon isn’t an official retailer. Which is weird since its sold by them through Amazon. Anyways, be aware that this product is having issues.

One of The Best Ralph Has Put Out.
Dang… I wore this stuff in high school and this really took me back. My wife got me this stuff for Christmas and it is the real deal stuff. Still smells just as good as ever (nice light sporty summery scent), and a couple sprays lasts you half way to all the way through an 8 hour work day.. Just really nice stuff. Kind of hard for me to describe a scent but if you already know and like the stuff then fear not because this is the real deal old school RL Polo Sport right here. And if you are a newcomer to this stuff, enjoy because you just found one of the best scents that Ralph has ever put out (second only to RL #4 and Polo Red Extreme in my opinion).

Got hit with the news that every major retail store no longer carries Polo Sport. Been wearing Polo Sport since 1996 when I was stationed at Fort Bragg. Polo Sport let’s everyone know you have arrived and leaves a lasting scent the ladies desire and long for.

The only fragrance I will buy!
This fragrance has become harder and harder to find in store so once again, I had to turn to amazon. I am constantly being offered other Ralph Lauren fragrances which are HORRIBLE! I don’t know why these are in abundance while the best Ralph Lauren fragrance is practically extinct. I am not good at describing scents per se, all I can say is that the scent is unmistakable, remarkable and wonderful; light, fresh, long-lasting and leaves all others in the dust. No other fragrance even comes close. A bit expensive but worth the price. I make it last by only using 5 spritzes a day and belive me, that’s all you need. Once you’ve had Polo Sport, you’ll never go back to your old cologne. P.S. there is also an equally excellent deodorant stick.

Hello,I am someone who enjoys a great smell, if it is a warm summer’s breeze or steamed cauliflower. Either way meeting women gets more difficult are the years go on and that is why I choose Polo Sport. I make sure I order it online because you know just because.I use to smell different because I bought a different products in the past but now my wife and kids buy this as a gift, so now I smell like this stuff.
